To enhance the lives of older adults.

Senior Citizens of Kodiak, Inc., (SCOK) was incorporated October 30, 1973 in order to provide a full range of health, education and social services to people 60 and over on Kodiak Island. 
The First Nationally Accredited Senior Center in Alaska
We are the only senior center accredited five times (2003, 2008, 2013, 2018 and 2023) in Alaska by the National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC) and the National Council on Aging (NCOA).

The SCOK 2024 Annual Survey is Ready!

We have developed the Kodiak Senior Center’s Annual survey in order to get feedback on how we are doing.  Your response will help us identify our strengths, and determine what areas we can focus on to improve our services.  We would greatly appreciate your input.  You can complete the survey using the online link below, or by bringing us a completed copy on paper.  You can find the printed copy at the back of the March newsletter, and we will have some copies available at the Senior Center. Please complete by April 30th, 2024.

KATS Survey

Do you ride the KATS bus? If so, we would greatly appreciate your input on how we’re doing!  You can complete the survey using the online link below, or by bringing us a completed copy on paper.  You can get a printed copy on one of the KATS buses, and we will have some copies available at the Senior Center. Please complete by April 30th, 2024.

from Noon to 1 p.m.
Seating is back to 6 people per table.
No Salad Bar at this time.

Senior Citizens of Kodiak continues to offer "Curbside" meals

Monday — Friday from 12 noon to 1 pm. Drive up to the back door and we will deliver the meal to you and collect your $10.00 donation.

Home-Delivered meals

If you need a home delivered meal, please call our office at 486-6181 no later than 10:30 am and we will do a little paperwork and get you started. $10.00 donation is requested.

Recurring Events

Chair Yoga with Veronica or Tracy

Mondays at 9:30 - Due to the popularity of this class, we are excited to announce we will have yoga every Monday - this month Veronica will be here the first two Mondays, and Tracy will be here for the remainder of the month.

Foot Clinic -
